Hey guys have'nt posted anything in awhile, partly because things are going smoothly (touch wood).

Anyways. I have read alot things on garlic being used in food, and I know that formula 1 marine pellets has this as part of its ingerdients. But I would like some tips on preparing my on fish food with fresh garlic, and store it for later use.

I also know that there is bottle spary's on the market, I have'nt used any but would like some recommendations.

Thanks..

the best of the 8 products ive tried out there is the Kent Garlic X-treme. it comes in a dropper bottle and you just let the food soak in it for a while and feed it. its in all the right amounts and concentrate so you dont have to worry about giving to much if ur doing it yourself. also its made for fish with extra stuff in there to boost their immune system even more..unlike pressed garlic a home.

I agree I use the Kent brand and will not change, it is the only one i have used but if it ain't broke don't fix it. I have noticed a sever decress in ich since I started useing it, I pu it in the food every other day and add one drop per 10 gal of water volume every week. (It is a nutrient so will be skimmed out which is why I dose every week)

Up until recently I used regular crushed garlic and mixed it with the fish food. I would mix and soak the food with water in a small plastic cup and try to 'crush' the garlic a little more. The fish would eat the food and most of them, the garlic too.

The only reason I've been shying away from it lately is because my entire tank immediately smells of strong garlic. :D
