gas prices

in OK it's still in the $2 range :thud: wow...my mom said Kansas is like $3:59 and it's right near OK! wait..OK has oil though;)

gas in albany is 3.67 a gallon strange that we yell about payig that much for one gallon of gas but yet our milk is about the same for a gallon and noone seems to complain about that maybe cause most ppl dont use it as much but in my house we use 3 gallons of milk a day so i guess the gas price didnt bother me as much as everyone else as i am used to paying that much for a gallon of fluid

It could be worse, Netherlands is around 6.48 a gallon. But Venezuela is only 0.12 a gallon. Im just glad I get around 40 mpg.

hear in MN it is $2.79 a gallon. For some strange reason after the hurricane the price of gas went down $.20.

Gas was up to $3.19 here just before Labor Day weekend....and lo and behold today it's back to $2.90. Funny how that happens. Last Monday evening it was $2.70.

Other countries than the USA have it easier (I am not saying easy...) but easier than the USA does. You have a little bit better salaries compared to the US.

Depends on the industry. We may have better minimum wages and benefits, but some jobs pay better in the US. But you also have to consider how much tax others pay. A large portion of wages/salaries in Canada go towards taxes, leaving workers with less disposable income...and a good chunk of the price at the gas pump is taxes as well.
