Recently I decided to start a community 55 Gallon tank, and I decided my center piece fish will be 3 German Blue Rams (1Male/2Females). I've been hoping to get around 5-6 Panda Cory cats as my bottom feeders, but some people have been saying that they aren't compatible. What are your thoughts? Will they work or will they be aggressive toward the cats?

I had Rams with many different corys over the years and never had any issues.
This would also depend on the size of the tank.

I have 3 electric blue rams in a 29g with gambusia, a air of BNs, and ghost shrimp. Everyone gets along great. I would think that a 55g community should be fine, especially if you provide enough hiding places and break up territories.

Are you planning on breeding the rams?

They'll spawn whether you plan on it or not, as cichlids do. But if you're not worried about raising the fry you can just remove the eggs or let the cories do their thing and likely eat most of them (depending on how good at guarding the pair is).
