I had been using wd-40 to get off the easier to get off sticky, but it doesn't seem to work with the thicker sticky. What's an easier way to get it off that won't hurt the paint?

Peanut butter.............I know what your thinking, but it works....just let it sit on there for ten minutes it will dissolve the sticky.
Goo gone, is also an excellent product but I use the peanut butter first.
