I have a Cichlid tank and currently got a GH/KH test kit. The KH from tap water is 3 and GH is 10, KH from Aquarium water is around 8 and GH is 10. The PH level of the aquarium water is 8. I have crushed coral as substrate and I use one tea spoon of Cichlid salt everytime I do a water change. Is that good enough or should I be doing something else? Should I be worried about anything?

sounds like it's fine to me.

how long has the tank been running? what's the kH of the water in the tank? hopefully higher than 3?

The tank has been running for about 4 months, but the filter that I am using has been used for past 2 years. The KH of the tank water is around 10 and I think that's because of the crushed coral. Should I worry about fluctuations in PH? So, far I have seen none.
