i have 4 ghost shrimp in my 5 right now, i have been feeding them normal flake food that falls to the bottom, is this healthy for them, and are there any good foods that i could get for them? maybe a cucomber or lettice?

Mine dig cucumber. They're also big fans of Wardley Shrimp Pellets and hikari Algae Wafers. they're pretty good scavengers though so unless they're the only thing in the tank they'll probably do okay feeding off the scraps in the tank left from the other fish. I would only feed them specifically with a cuke or something maybe once a week.

ok i have some algae and i put some in there, the molly that is living in the tank temp. is eating it at the moment, ill get some cucombers fromt the cafeteria later

Want to see something neat? Get some frozen bloodworms and put them in for the fish and shrimp. You can see the bloodworm going into the shrimp since they're clear:) Plus, it just looks funny to see a little shrimp inhaling a long stringy blood worm hehe.

I loved it when they would come up to the top of the tank to steal the worms away from the fish. Shrimp are cool:cool:

Eh, those are just kind of like flakes all rolled up. They're not stringy or red or anything;) Where's the fun in that? Plus, I guarantee you that all of your fish will love the frozen kind. I've found Hikari's brand to be the best ones:)
