i went over to mr. betta's tank and saw a ghost shrimp putting the end of his tail into a little ball and shoving it into its mouth! mr. betta freaked out on the shrimp and swam away. 5 minutes later mr.betta's hanging out by the fake plants and the shrimp swam across the tank and started munching on his tail again! this does not seem too normal to me! if there would be aggressiveness in the tank i figured it would have been the other way around. will the shrimp be ok with some danios? i dont want to leave them in with mr.betta.

actually i do, but i lost my USB cable
and i traded my camera phone in for something less expensive. i'll try to buy another cable and post the pictures hopefully tomorrow.
they have 2 reddish-orange dots on either sides of the tail and stripes of the same color on the antenna.

definitely the first one. the claws are tiny.
i dont want the betta to get stressed out but i like the shrimp and dont want to get rid of them. would they be alright in a tank with danios and eventually kuhlii loaches?

It's not unusual for ghost shrimp to do this. There's a lot of protein to be had in even a little piece of tailfin. I've seen them sneak up on Bettas and latch on for a quick snack without the Betta even knowing it was happening until they lost a little tag of tail.
