I am in a bit of a dilema; I have four giant danios in my 20G that I got when I first started up the tank (about 5 months ago). They are now full grown (10 - 12 cm long) having tripled in size. They are extremely boistrous fish and it looks like the tank really isn't giving them enough room to swim around in.
So I can't work out whether I should take them back to the pet shop and give them the chance of a life in a bigger tank. Then I worry that for all I know they could end up in a worse situation; after all at least I care about them and do twice weekly water changes, check the water etc. Maybe a 20G isn't overly small. Also they aren't behaving aggressively, they just look like they need more room for chasing each other all the time.
Any advice ?
I am changing my mind every 10 minutes and I think my husband is going to throttle me if I for his advice one more time (I believe he seriously regrets buying me the tank for my birthday so there is no chance of getting a bigger tank at this stage).
