Glass artwork for aquariums.

I'm very interested in your art, it's gorgeous. I'd like a piece similar to the anemone looking one, but perhaps slightly larger.

I'd keep it in my room, but if you could make something with more spaced out "limbs" so that I don't have to worry about my fish getting wedged in there, I'd buy one for my aquarium too.

Hmm, kinda want a small one for my planted 10g too....

Ever thought about starting a website?

Yeah I could try and do some custom stuff. Just let me know any ideas and I'll let you know if It's something I can do.

I have thought about starting a website for it, I might do that if I get the time to. I have a buddy who said he will help me out.. he is very talented.

One thing to keep in mind is that the glass looks very different when in the water. I love the way it looks, the clear parts kind of disappear and the colored ones stand out. I need to get a setup so I can take pics underwater.

Thanks again for looking :)

New pics....

Ok ... here is a set that I made yesterday. It consists of 3 vessels and two marbles. The marbles are a little less than an inch across and the vessels are two to three inches long each.

I like making sets like this because then people can choose how they want the art to be displayed. The vessels can either lay flat on the gravel/sand or they can stick into it. Obviously you can do whatever you want with them.

If sold separately the vessels are $35 each shipped and the marbles are $20 a piece shipped. I will sell the whole set for $80 shipped. ( you can tell I really want to keep the set intact)

Thanks for looking!

International Shipping

Very unusual - can they be safely shipped internationally?

I am in the UK and would say that there is definately a market for them if you could produce enough within a reasonable amount of time, make them inexpensive enough to appeal here and of course get them here in one piece!

Let me know your thoughts - there may be a business opportunity for both of us here!

Shipping shouldn't be a problem. These are made of Borosilicate glass and are very durable. Basically they are the same type of tough glass that is in Pyrex cookware. I've done shipping to Japan before, I don't think the UK should be too much different.

We should talk more about this, you can PM me or email me at wax808@gmail.com if you want to start a conversation.

I look forward to speaking with you more about this....

thanks,

Jess
