One of my silver dollars has spots on it's back at the base of the dorsal fin that look like glitter. I don't think it's ick. If I understand ick correctly it looks like salt. These spots are about the size of grains of salt, but are shiny and sparkle like glitter and aren't raised above the skin. Any idea what these are and is it anything to be concerned about? Thanks.

Maybe lost scales, mine are pretty glittery I think it's just part of them.
Mine have had ick before you can tell ick because it is usually on their fins before it is more noticeable on their bodies because of their coloring.
