:help: I want to build some rock and cave formations for my tank. I've read somewhere that the only type of glue to use is silicone. Is this correct? Is there a special kind or brand to use? Is any type of silicone glue OK? I'd appreciate any advise or information Thanks :help:

Standard white epoxy putty from the hardware store will work fine. Epoxy putty is not very sticky, and takes a while to cure, so it is best used to support structures that are already fairly stable. Once cured, it will be strong and stable, but it takes a little practice.

Is there such thing as glue that you can use in the water? Or do you always have to pull the rock out and make sure the surface is dry?

Super glue is tank safe? I have all kinds of rocks at the beach over here with really cool holes in it. They are very dry. I can build caves and tunnels, glue them, and let them sit a week and you think they would work and be safe?
