That is a citron gobie......called many things but most often a citron. The give away is the blue lines.......I have one in my 20g and he is housed with a pygmy angel, a wheeler gobie and a pistol shrimp pair. They all live happily together......

here's a pic of mine

whats a wheeler gobie look like do you have a picture also what sort of fish personality wise is it

here's a pic of the wheelers gobie with his buddy the tiger pistol shrimp. They live together in their burrow and the gobie stands guard watching for danger. They are a cool little fish around 2 inches in length and red and white striped.

how reef safe is the piston shrimp? they look cute :)

So, how long did you let this tank establish itself before adding live stock? Judging by your post it seems that you just added everything within the course of a few days.

i`ve always used this method it was recommended by an marine/reef expert via my local fish shop thats been in the game 25yrs never had an hicup yet but here go`s add live rock sand etc leave a week for the big tests if everything is ok well no reason why you cant add the 1st fish seen as live rock is enriched with all things good for fish then add the 2nd fish after a month as long as all is well but the 15gallon tank as been running around 4-5weeks

I believe the tiger pistol shrimp is perfectly reef safe. All this guy does all day is move sand from one place to another creating a network of burrows under the rock....I placed a couple of pounds of rubble in the tank to give hims something to play with......well needless to say every single piece was moved under the rock creating tunnels within 24hrs. They are an amazing, interesting pair and bother nothing else in the tank. The tank sits in my bedroom and in the middle of the night I can sometimes hear him snapping his claws.......sounds like someone snapping their fingers.....startled me at first but once you know what it is it's no biggie.
