Does anyone have much experience with Bumblebee Gobys or Pictus Catfish? I'm thinking about both as additions to a community aquarium.

Goby: Will they take flake food, or just live food? Do they do best as the only one of their species in the tank, or with companions of their own kind?

Pictus: Is there a problem with them being the only fish of their kind in a tank, or do they need compainions? Will they eat smaller fish in the tank? How big do they get?

Any comments would be helpful. Thanks!

I have a Bumblebee Goby in my community tank, my experience with him has been that he'll only take food he THINKS is alive, so you can feed them frozen brine shrimp and frozen bloodworms, as long as there is a decent flow of water in your tank. I have never seen him EAT flake, just taste it then spit it out!
Good luck, those guys are SO cool!

Also, rumor has it that Pictus catfish will eat little fish at night (ex. neon tetra) if they are not well fed
