i just bought 2 gold mystery snails today and they are moving all over the tank and feeding fine. I just wanted to know if these snails mate together or alone , also , what are admirable conditions for spawming and how hard are they to breed . all replies and any answers to the questions above are welcome :thm:

they need a partner of the opposite sex to mate, you can find sexing information at the aforementioned website www.applesnail.net . To spawn you need good water quality and the water line dropped a couple of inchest below the top of the glass for them to lay the clutches. They breed prolifically and easily, each clutch can give you 100 or more babies.

thanx for the info .... sigh it looks like i might not get any babies after all , i thought these snails spawned ont their own oh well
