Gold Nugget Pleco size?

I was looking around on planet catfish because i want to get a gold nugget pleco. Now for the question,
There were 3 sites with the gold nugget on there

1 of them says their max sie is around 7", while the other says 14".

What size do they actually get?

i think on planet catfish there is a pic of a hure one maybe 18"
i have heard that they loose their color when they get older, but i have heard that they don't too

I have seen many large sunshine or 'goldy' pleco's, but never any big true gold nuggets.

you can get large sunshine pleco's from suppliers, but not large true gold nuggets, which probably tells us that gold nuggets do in fact max out around 6 inches or so.

there are 3 different plecos that can be called "gold nugget pleco" . i was confused myself cos i wanted one too .(got ich so that put that to the side for a month or 2) . L18 is the 6 inch one, L177 gets to 12 inches and L81 , i dont know how big that gets .
