Are these fish normally agressive? I think he killed my yellow convict and he, my convict, and green terror go at it pretty regularly. Its actually pretty amusing to watch......

i don't know how big the tank is, but I've usually seen severums as not particularly aggressive compared to convicts and other Central Americans, but you know how it is with cichlids, different personalities are common within the species itself.
My Gold Severum is about 5" now and he/she? is pretty tame. Although he doesn't have much competition since he's the biggest. If any other tank mates come too close he just looks at them and they go away.
Its a 75 gallon.......its not a big deal, I was just wondering because he has taken over this log in the tank as his and wont let anyone near it.......no biggie though.....
