Goldfish eating snails.

I never had mine eaten any of my snails at all but if anything, their eating habits will be the curse of snails who may be unable to get their fair share of food thus they steadily decline in number.
My goldfish will eat the smaller snails but once they get larger their shells get too hard. I only get babies inside of my filters in my goldfish tank.
Is it possible for Goldfish to eat MTS babies? I get those more than anything. Come to think of it the baby MTS seem to not be in with my 5.5 inch oranda anymore. I think he may have ate them.
