We need the answer to a few questions before we can give you any advice:

1. How big is the tank?
2. Is the tank cycled?
3. What are your water parameters: ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, pH?

Thanks!

hi,,,
30g
aquaclear 70 + UGF
6 goldies

do you have any idea why its turning black?
It's hard to tell why it's turning black unless we know what your water parameters are and how long the tank has been up. Please test with a liquid kit and post your ammonia, nitrites and nitrates.

What type of goldfish are they and how old?
Did you cycle the tank? How long has it been running?

Btw, 30 gallons is too small a tank to house 6 goldfish. They need 20-30 gallons *each* plus 15 gallons for each additional fish.

Soon as you let us know what the water readings are, what type of goldfish and how old (big) they are, and how long the tank has been running, we can try to help you.
