I'm gonna add 6-7 bettas to my 10 gal with my Dwarf Gourami and my 2 panda cories.

i had 3 zebra dianos in there with them but i put them in my dads 15 because he likes them and has the extra room to take care of them

i was thinking of either cardnal tetras or bleeding hart tetras,

seems ok to me.. does anyone see anything wrong with this setup?

i should get my powerfilter in the mail today with some silk plants to add to my tank, as of now i have an undergravel filter setup for filtration.

I sure hope theyre not all male bettas haha :)

I would try to limit it down to 5 tetras. Still a decent size group but much easier on the bioload.

5 sounds good, i gotta wait a while though. Somehow i got snails in my aquarium and they are trying to take over

i'v reduced feeding to bare minimum and i crush the little buggers with a spoon every chance i get.

the snails either came from some of the plants i had in there from the lps, or the gravel from my old tank... but the gravel was dry for about 2 years....

werid...

Snails really don't do that much to the bioload so if that is the only reason for waiting then I wouldn't wait. I actually love snails in my planted tanks. I have them in all but one. That tank used to have snails but they have been eaten I think. They are good at eating leftover food and nibbling on algae. But if you want them gone that is your choice. Picking them out is the best option as the chemicals available are poisons.
