Good fish

Hi everyone,

My puffer died and so now i have a ten gallon tank with two ottos. This is a common question, but i want to know what good fish i should put in. I was looking for a colorful, lively fish, that has personality. I was thinking of two German blue rams but wanted some opinions. Thanks!

Was the puffer FW? I will assume so. I don't think onions are freshwater, actually I didn't even know they were fish. ;) Two rams are a good idea, they are quite pretty. You could always just go with some fancy guppies. Or if you want something with a bit more personality, a pair of shell dwelling cichlids.

-lol- onions are plants hes talking about an onion plants cichlids are known for tearing up plants

you might try a school of tetras cardinals are really bright if you want somthing bigger you could try some tiger barbs they are very lively and fun to watch :dive:
 
Neons are a personal fav.

Serpae tetra's, or Red minor tetra I've seen them called are pretty and lively.

Tiger barbs are neat and exciting.

I've always been a personal fan of inverts. Shrimp, Snails and Crabs are always fun to watch.

oh so sorry about the loss of your lil puff ... they are so adorable ..why not get another one .. ??..
it was so funny the other night my puffer got Krill for the first time and oh man she was so excited .. she started bobbing up and down head up at the top of the tank .. i was beggining to think something was wrong with her ..lol.. but she was just excited about the Krill .. she loves her blood worms and snails ...
