everyone here seems to cater towards the reef crowd. i am looking for a good freshwater store with decent prices....help!!!!

Well hmm... SE Michigan is a big area, with lots of people/cities. Which area do you live in? Currently, I live about 20 minutes from the Ohio area, and I am 1 hour southwest of Detroit – so I can give you a list of good LFS in the Lenawee, Washtenaw, and Monroe counties area... but if you live in Detroit, or north of Detroit, those counties are useless to you.

Do you see what I'm saying?

Waterford is awfully far from what I considered the metro-Detroit area... but I'll have to check out that store sometime!

We have a member here on AC who lives around the Rochester area and he works at Pet Supplies PLUS in Rochester Hills. Again, that is pretty far north too.

Like I said earlier, it really depends on where you live because in Michigan, location is everything (this is a hefty state!).

Yes I have been to moby dicks, good store and prices. I am going to try the lfs in new baltimore. ocean and seas is ok, overpriced in my opinion. Metro detroit really needs a good quality freshwater fish store. I cant believe that an area this big doesnt have any great freshwater stores!!!! I guess I was spoiled when i lived in milwaukee (i worked at Pets n' things....greatest FW store i have ever seen)
