good pellet food for cichlids?

lol maybe but didnt they say to find a food that fishmeal isnt in the food? i mean im not being a smart *** but...... :D

NLS is the best pellet out there. I feed it to all my fish. It has helped brighten all my fish's colors and you feed a lot less and there is less waste. I"d suggest trying it.

The cyclops eeze pellets seem very high in fat and protein. I wouldn't feed that on a regular basis.

Can someone give me a good reason as to WHY fishmeal as a 1st ingredient is to be avoided? Many of your better brands of pellets have fishmeal. Hikari, Marineland, Tetra, etc.

This is why I think fishmeal should not be a main ingredient.

You shouldn't base your opinions only on a manufactorers statement. They will say anything to sell their product, so, for obvious reasons, their "research" is biased.

Find outside, non-affiliated sources to base your opinions on. It makes you a wiser and more aware consumer.

Edit: This may be one site you will be interested in. Completely about the uses of fishmeal. Fishmeal is also recycled animal products and use is beneficial to the enviroment.
