Well i just stumbled across an awesome program called Google earth. It allows you to see satellite images of the world. I know their are alot of websites that do this but none that do it quite like google did with this software. You have to try this to understand what makes it so good. And its free. Check it out at http://earth.google.com/earth.html. Its nothing sort short of amazing. I found my house and saw our pond from space, lol... If you search for new york city you can see 3D buildings and other cool stuff. Defintely fun to play with and i thought id share with all you fine people

Nice!

I wanted to download it, but downloads are no longer happening now... :(

Can someone post when downloads are again up and available?

WOW!
I can't believe it's free!

If you adjust the angle of view, and hit the up arrow, it seems like you are flying a plane!

Really good stuff!!

Type in an address of city, state -- and fly like a rocket to that place!!

  :thm:

Everyone should get this one! ........

Thanks sivic!

Interesting...

The zip code 33409 -- the one with the UFO in it; you can zoom in closer and see the shadows of the trees and the UFO are 'correct'. There is something there.

I remember your older post with this. Interesting stuff still would like to know what the heck it is.

Another thing to look at is niagra falls and the grand canyon. Interesting pictures from the sky. Been trying to find the great wall of china, but i have no idea where in china that is exactly.

From google:
addition to the basic features, Google Earth Plus includes:

* GPS integration – read tracks and waypoints from your GPS.
* Higher resolution printing (greater than screen resolution).
* Customer support via email (not just web).
* Annotation – adds draw/sketch tools for richer annotations (can be shared as KML).
* Data importer – read address points from .csv files.

I like the GPS and annotation. Its it worth $20? No, stick with the free version.
