Google earth. Whoa!

It's going to take a lot of explaining from Google on this one!!

I found a day I was able to download it directly. I do think it is very cool, however resolution in some areas is really lacking. When a four lane highway is a blured single stripe you know the resolution isn't to good. I tried to find my parents house, I can't even make out the whole neighborhood. Anyone else looking at the spot wouldn't know there are houses there.

But some areas are so good you can almost identify the cars parked by the houses.

Yes, some areas are blurry with no detail, but lots of places have great detail. I know my old Firebird was in front of the house when the photos were taken!

The 'new' house in south Orlando shows paver stones put out in the backyard - lots of them, which are now gone. There is real nice detail on this program; some areas do lack the detail. But overall - it's incredible! Better than Terraserver...

I remember your older post with this. Interesting stuff still would like to know what the heck it is...... .. .
Me too!
Funny how no one has an explanation - like Venus, or the usual weather balloon scenario...

But then again, like I mentioned before, it could be someone that threw his Frisbee a couple thousand feet into the air! And, it happens to look like metallic...

(deep sarcasm..)

Did anyone go to the "de-bunkers" sites??

I'm shocked at the non-believers silence!!!

:D

I. Been trying to find the great wall of china, but i have no idea where in china that is exactly.

one section is 110km NW of Bejing. Use the measure tool to get the distance and that will plop you almost on top of it or at least one section of it.

Alright this thing isn't working for me.

I downloaded the application from 3 different sites, installed it, but could not contact the servers!!

I shut off my antivirus, my pop up blocker, my firewall, pinged the servers from command prompt, but it still will not work!!!!

What the crap?
