Got 2 36w for my 55g , have some questions ,

i got 2 36w 6400k daylight fluorescents for my 55g light planted tank ,
and im thinkin bout addin another one , so here s the questions :
1-wat s the difference between daylight and sunlight fluorescents and which one is better ( the daylights are kinda blue and the sunlights r kinda yellow , the daylights r like moonlight , why r they callin it daylight anyway ? lol ) ?
2- do i need more light (more than what i currently have , 2*36w)?
3-if i need more can i go for a sunlight ?

What is the K rating of the Sunlight bulb? Generally you want more than 5000K and no more than 10000K for plant gowing. Most people think the higher or bluer bulbs make the tank look better.
You have decent low lighting with the two bulbs. Adding a third gives you more options as you have nearly two watts per gallon, enough to grow some medium light plants.

1- The difference between daylight and sunlight bulbs are the Kelvin rating of the bulb, an approximate color rating on how the light appears to the human eye. Daylight bulbs usually range between 6,500k-6,700k while sunlight bulbs are probably ranging between 4,000k-5,500k. As to which is better, they're likely comparable to each other so buy the one that looks good to you.

2- It depends on the kinds of plants you want. Your lighting is sufficient for low light plants like crypts, java ferns & moss, anacharis, anubias, water sprite, water wisteria, etc. Adding another bulb will increase your plant choices but it may also mean the need to add ferts and CO2.

3- If you prefer the sunlight bulbs, go for it.

Generally you want more than 5000K and no more than 10000K for plant gowing.

I am currently using an 18,000k Hagen PowerGlo T5HO bulb, no issue with growing plants. Use the K rating to judge the light color, not whether the bulb is good for plant growing.
