well i got a new tank its the bigges i have ever had. I have some 5 - 10gals and my family has had a 30 or so arround here. I have never had a 20gal. Today my parents let me get out of school early to go shoping. I went to my lps and they had 2 like new 20gal tanks, I ask my parents and they say do what ever so i buy one. its just the glass with no lid/lights i only paid 34$ canadian for it so it was cheap. I going to set my tank up two moro. i also got a whisper internal filter 10-20 gals. i think i am going to try two put 14 guppies and one male betta. i here thats a bad idea but my cuzin did it so i think i can do it. And if they are being mean to him ill put him back in his bowl. i have kept one femail with the gups in a 5g and they didnt do nothing to the femail. :thm:

Could be they are gasping for air because the water is not holding enough oxygen for them.
Could be they know that I where the food comes from and the little pigs want more.
I have one guppy that always stays close to the top and the other two of mine swim around. Yours just may like it towards the top of the tank.
They are fine now. about a hour afterfeeding they were going like mad... Oh ya dont put male betta with guppies, he was chasing the guppies so i took him out. he had ones tail in his mouth but i scared the betta off with a net. the guppies look to be ok.
Good job Fish.....my guppies stay up near the top at feeding time....lol....after they chow down they meander around looking for nibbles on the bottom.
