I bought different decorations and places for them to hide in too.
Everything is new in the tank even new gravel mixed with a little bit of the old gravel. The onlt thing I used from my old tank is the water.I checked the water in the new tank and it is perfect nothing bad at all.

Now the only thing is my Red Devil is terrorizing my texas constantly chasing him and nipping him. Also my pink convict is chasing my black convict nipping at him.The only fishes that seem to be happy are the pacus swiming back and forth until my Jack chases and bites them. What is going on here? For the most part they got along fine in the 55 no chasing and now it's one fish can't stand the other.Actuallt my devil never liked my texas.
I left them alone for a few hours and come back to see all the fish with minor nipped fins and bite marks on their body and the only fish with no injuries is the red devil and pink convict.Even my Jack has a nipped fins and I never ever seen him been niped by any other fish.
Why are they acting like that?

I think the fish you have are not compatible with each other. The way I read your post it looks like your tank has not cycled. I would try to tack all or some of your fish back to where you got them. It looks like you didn’t research anything before you went to the store.

new tank

Basically what is happening is:

when you had the smaller tank there was no room for any one fish to try and set itself up a territory to defend.

Now what has happened is that the more dominant fish now have more room to swim and are starting to exert their dominance. The tank is only going to get worse. Chances are you will eventually end up with only one or two fish left the rest will be dead.

If I remember from your first post about the fish you have far too many aggressive fish for even the 95 to work.

IMO it is time to choose the fish that you really like (2 or 3 max) and send the rest back to your LFS. I persoanlly would keep the texas the JD and 1 convict. The red devil being the nastiest of the bunch also must go back. It WILL take over the entire tank. It's just a matter of time.

Yeah, I remember now. You had a 55g with something like 7 aggressive species. I would also say that now that they have some room they are going to duke it out to see who gets to be king of the tank. If you don't get some of them separated expect a death or two.

I have recently upgraded from a 55 gallon to a 105 gallon tank and I have noticed a similar thing, my Convict (6 inch), Severum (3.5 inch) and the Geophagus (3.5 inch) used to get on relatively ok. Now the Convict has taken possession of the left hand side of the tank and every so often rushes into the right hand side to attack the other cichlids. Fortunately both of the others are fast enough and resiliant enough to ignore this occasional harassment.
I agree with the previous posters comments about the cause of this, being down to fish establishing and defending a new territory. I think you need to reduce the number of aggressive fish in the tank.
PS. I know its too late but you should of transfered all the old rock, gravel and ornaments and all of the old filter material to the new tank. This has prevented my new tank from cycling.

I have to agree with the majority. Those guys are just not going to get along and it will get very ugly before it is all over. I can even tell you the ending. If you do not take him back, You will end up with a red devil and only a red devil.
