I have a mystery snail with the same orange speckles as in your first pic... but lately he's been looking like the speckles are fading... any thoughts on speckle color/vibrance?

I don't know about the specks. He's always been that vibrant maybe its an age thing? Or to attract mates? I'm not sure.
