Hey everbody. this is my first time posting on this site, and i gotta tell you im glad i found it.(it was through a link in an article by pufferpunk...so thnx puffer!) I was begining to wonder if there was any1 else with BW experience on this web. Sorry this gonna be so long! anyway im gonna be making the move from New Hampshire to New Jersey, about a 5 1/2 hour drive.....maybe a little longer, i'll be driving a moving van! I plan on taking my fish with me and this is my setup and plan. My fish (1 Archer,2 green scats, 3 GSP, nobody is bigger than 4") are going to go into a sealable 5g bucket with holes drilled in the top to accept an air hose, and heater cord. I already have a 37g setup running at my new home, its been going for about a week. so they will have more room while i get there tank set back up. I think if I keep them pretty well cushioned on the ride this shouldnt be too stressful right? I mean its a whole lot better than a plane ride in a styrofoam container from the Indo-pacific! I'm not sure if 1 of my GSP is going to make it, he's been looking pretty stressed out lately getting real skinny and getting beat up a lot by the other 2. he also has these white marks on his body like bite marks, gee, i wonder how he got those. does anybody have a clue as how to sex them? does that even matter as far as aggression? can the remaining 2 live in harmony together? now my last question, does anybody know how far i can push the salinity of my water as far as the archer is concerned? do they survive in marine water? right now hes been happy at about between 14 and 16. dont' know the SG numbers. so if anybody has any answers for me i would love to hear them! thanks in advance. Michael
o yeah , is a 200w power inverter enough for a 50w heater and small air pump?
