Got to love older sisters

I was talking to my sister yesterday which is kind of a rarity that we get to talk due to how busy she always is (shes a big hearted vet so she works long hours lol). And after I asked about her birds (shes a bird freak, she breeds all these rare and exotic birds lol) she asked what kind of fish I been keeping lately. So I tell her about my tanks and how Im really liking dwarf shrimp and thinking about getting some more. So this morning I get an email from her and it reads- Heres your trackin number for the shrimp Happy Early Birthday Love you.
ohh and they are crystal red shrimp..
The tracking number was just sent to me, so it may take a few hours to show up
Just in case you wanted to do some research before they come
I guess they are a mutation of the bumble bee

Out of the tap my ph is usually 6.8-7 my tanks are all about the same.

You are in luck, that is on the high end of the range where they do well. Typically mid 6's is best but they should do ok. They like cooler water than alot of shrimp species. I keep my crystal tank at around 70ish. They are great shrimp hope you enjoy them!
