gotta fix my puffer

i have a figure 8 puffer and his beak seems to be getting big. i give him snails and freeze dried shrimp. here latly he seems to not be eating as well and is loosing some weight. for last couple weeks the water temp has been up some of my other fish had ich. i did the salt and heat treatment and it went away. but my wife noticed the puffer looks to have buck teeth lol. what can i do? thanks.
 
You might have to file his teeth.. it sounds like they got to big and now it's having trouble eating. I had the same problem with my Fahaka.. I gave it plenty of snails to eat but it's teeth kept growing and growing, unfortunately I lost him.
 
do they grow pretty slow? i guess i could do a search huh lol. thanks for the info though
