100? gallon tank and stand for $100 in response to the ad I placed.

Here's the ad:

I'm looking for a bunch of aquariums.

Let me first say that I'm not looking for those from people trying to recoup the massive amount of money they invested in a hobby they no longer are interested in. So, if you have a 30 gallon setup that you want $100 for or a 125 setup that you want $800 for I'm NOT interested.

I'm looking for those aquariums that are taking up space in your house or garage that you no longer have time for and are just tired of looking at and will practically pay someone to get out of your way.

I will offer a fair price based on what you have. For most it will be .50 to .75 per gallon, but if you have something really nice that I want I will likely go higher.

All tanks must not leak or have anything more than incidental, minute chips unless specified. Don't waste your time and mine by not telling me this in advance.

So... did you get a 100g tank for $100? You're not quite clear there.

Q

Yep, my first response to the add was 100 gallon tank and stand for $100. I put the ? after the 100 because she didn't know the dimensions and is going to send them after her husband gets home.

I'm skeptical about people's ability to determine tank sizes. There's someone selling a 30-35 gallon tank as a 65. I say 30-35 because the dimensions they gave are a little off. I think they actually measured wrong and it's a 30 gallon.

Wow, good find. Do you mind if I place an identical ad on Craigslist for my area?

Hmmmm... you're an evil MTS enabler Pete! lol

I guess I need to clean out the guest bedroom...
