Gotta love craigslist

do you search certain topics or entire for sale for your area?

I search all for aquarium, fish, and then tank

Check general and garage sales as they sometimes have things listed.
 
Now, go figure. I won't believe it until I see it, but supposedly this "100" gallon tank is 52" x 16" x 52" weirdness! It must be custom or a typo. Know of any tanks close to 100 gallons that are 52 x 16 x ##?
 
those dimensions make it about 190 gallons..
however, I know that a reef cube would have similar dimensions.. a friend of mine has one(not those dimensions) basically his is 52x42x16 150 g reef tank..these are designed to be shallow draft but wide to support shallow reef tanks..great for corals and smaller fish he has a bunch of tangs and reef Chromis in his.

if it's one of those tanks..that price is a steal as these are usually custom and expensive..
 
I back calculated and got 52 x 16 x 28 for 100 gallons. I'll laugh quietly to myself if it is indeed 190 (187) gallons as I load it into my truck. I have a feeling that this is going to be one of those unbelievable extra equipment deals.

Another guy just emailed me and told me he has 5 tanks 10 - 200 gallons in his consignment shop. Emailed him back to see what he wants for them.

I'm just going to accumulate everything I can then pass some deals on to other people on craigslist to get some of the money back.
 
I'm one f those craigslist shoppers too.

I have never paid more than a few hundred for a complete set up.

I recently picked up a complete set up 29 g filters lights stand.heaters(yes multiple) for $40
I did pay $200 for a 29 complete set up..but it came with a pair of wild Peruvian angels(breeding pair)

:omg: You mean you bought the pair for a steal and got the 29 gallon setup as a door prize? LOL
