"grass" in tank

Depends on what's on the grass.

If its the kind of "grass" it seems you are alluding to then it should be ok. If it's the kind that just grows in your front yard I might worry about pesticides or fertilizers. Do a big water change and test daily for about a week for signs of bacteria die off.
