Great LFS in NY

Cypherman is Markheim's on Sheridan Dr. They have birds, dogs, and such when you go in then fish the herps? If that is the store it is very nice as well. One of the three stores I hit when I make that drive. The Fish Place rules though as far as numbers of oddballs you will see. Didnt that 2000 gallon tank have a few hundred Neon or Cardinal tetras in it a few years ago. Like about 7 or 8? I love that store wish it were closer though.

Yea Markheim's the 1 on Sheridan.

And I don't remember what was in that huge tank, but I can't wait to see what goes in it next.

I went last week at aquatic treasures on Woodhaven Blvd they have very good collection of fishes that’s the only big store I have seen in my area coz I live on Woodhaven blvd but there price are very high don’t ya think??? And the other store where I spent most of my money is on Atlantic Ave pet lend D near the path mark where I go almost every day lol........

Those are the two places I make the trek to from down here in Lewiston, NY. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive or so , staff in both places are very good I 've found and you can't beat the selection at the Fish Place. Occasionally I will even stop in Markheim just to check out their Red-Bellied Piranahs, I just want to see them eat sometime! IF you are in the WNY area there is another store I find worth mentioning, Pets Plus in Lockport , NY located on Rt. 31 heading there from Niagra Falls. They have a pretty good selection of everything, their staff is pretty good, and if you want Marine fish I find they have one of the better salt water selections in the area. If you haven't already I recommend checking it out...the prices aren't quite as high as the Amherst area either for those of you in B-lo.

Oh yeah btw, if you want to really see Red Bellies...Pets Plus also has a massive tank in their back room with about 30 of them in there...so skittish when you approach the tank you can see them all start to school, its really amazing to watch. :D

Sounds like a good time to take my wife for a romantic weekend get-away at The Pet Place...oh I mean Niagra Falls!!!!!!!!!!:D
