over the weekend I noticed that I had some green algae similar to a brown diatom and it is like clumping up in my sand. I checked the params and everything was in line. the salt was a little high, found out that my son was trying to be helpful and had poured some salt into the sump, the salinity was near 030 so I did a water change and got it down to about 027-028. I know it needs to get lower and I have plans on another water change (no salt) tomorrow and hopefully that will bring it down. will the salinity cause this green algae bloom that I have going on? I vac'd it out and less that a day later there it is again and I have never had this before. Thanks for and ideas here.
