So, I think my Green Killing Machine bulb died after 3 months! Stoopit machine. Now, the green water is back. Prolly due to fluctuating nutrient levels, most likely CO2. So, I am thinking of going to pressurized CO2 (around the holidays). The tank is planted, but not heavily. Should I bother with the UV sterilizer, or save that money and put it towards the pressurized setup.
To that end, why isn't there a sticky telling former DIY-ers like me what exactly parts we need and where to get them. I want a low-end CO2 setup to keep the plants growing and the green water away.
