Hello, I have 3 Pleco's together in a 55 Gal tank, I do regular water changes on a weekly bases.

One of them is turning white for no reason while the other ones are black as can be, they all look healthy and you can see them cleaning the rocks and the glass as they would normally do.

He has turned white before but only for a day but it's been like 5 days.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks. 16004370464253206571829530482916.jpg

Looks like a healthy fish. You may be witnessing dominance-based messages among your plecos. It would be best if you can determine their genders, and potentially relocate one or another on that basis. Just my thoughts.

They 2 look like different species to me. Unless the dark fish (a gibbiceps I think, aka sailfin) is quite small, it looks kind of skinny in the back half. Dark is not a color I'm used to seeing for them...& they get 14-18+ inches but slowly. It's not going to fit in that hut for long...
