Recently purchased a “common albino pleco” from petsmart, I noticed he had a funny little growth on his face. I brushed it off as petsmarts quality or even maybe he was a bristlenose and they didn’t realize. I’ve had him for a few months now he’s perfectly healthy and seems intensely happy. I’m not super concerned about the growth in his face just trying to get an idea of what it could be. Thanks everyone!

Looks like some sort of benign tumor; as long as it doesn't grow abnormally rapidly or swells to a relatively large size over time, the fish should be alright. If the tumor does grow large enough to be problematic to the fish, removal via surgical means (sometimes done by most specialized aquatic vets) may be necessary.
