No better places to put this...sorry if it's not appropriate for this forum, but I just had to post this. Quite frustrating.

Chances are the fish will live, then all that junk water will be dumped into nature, harming even more...dumb "scientists"...Here's a brilliant idea; if the "contaminants, pharmaceuticals, herbicides and heavy metals in the water" isn't something you would want to drink and that would harm you, why would it be any different for the fish? Idiots.

Gee, that's... retarded.

Let's all eat 5 bean burritos and let loose into a 5X5X8 room with no ventilation and make one person live there for several months. During that time, we will add more and more noxious gases into it, finally adding mustard gas. If he dies, then we know that our experiment was a failure.

That's what they're saying.

No no no, you missed a critical part of the experiment. You forgot the rat poison that they put in the room at the start of the experiment!

Quote from the article: "they'll undergo regular physical checkups to see if the contaminants, pharmaceuticals, herbicides and heavy metals in the water have any effect on life.

If there is a problem, the wastewater treatment plant will know where to begin to improve water quality."

Um... if there are contaminants, pharmaceuticals, herbicides and heavy metals in the water, and they know they're there, wouldn't the money being spent on this experiment be better used cleaning the water up? How can they not know that these things will have 'an effect on life'? Yikes.

How many billions of tax payers money is wasted, to do what. I think I am going to become a scientist tomorrow then the day after that a race car driver then the day after that....... :duh:

thats awful....."If they go belly up".....how many stupid people exist in this world......Maybe those "scientists" should each drink a glass of the water, If there are side effects, then the plant will know they have to do more.....

Hmm, I've come up with a hypothesis, but to test it, we must dismember the scientist. My hypothesis is that he'll be perfectly fine. But we must test if it has "an effect" on his life.
