Hey I have a 10 gallon tank with 6 fancy guppies and 2 cory catfish. I was wondering if I could put a coupel of dwarf gourami or any other big fish. thanks.

I think if before you add a dwarf gourami you should finish your school of cories (4-6?). Maybe you could do one dwarf gourami but that might be pushing it a little? I"m not sure (not an expert on stocking yet ;) )

i have a tip for stocking. find the length of every fish in the aquarium when they will be at full size then add all of the inches together.they should be the same or lower than the number of gallons in the aquarium, but i can already tell that you are pushing it and i agree with huricanejedi, you should finish the school of cories and than mayyyyybbbbbeeee add 1 small gourami.

No, you should not add any big fish, they will add too much to your bioload and they won't be comfortable in a small tank.

I had a single dwarf gourami in with 4 males and 2 female fancies guppies. I left one morning everyone was fine. came back at 3, the gourami had killed every single male guppie and both females where hiding under rocks. He has guppie fins(the flowing part) stuck in his ventral (?) top fin still haha. They were fine for 3 months before that-so go figure.
