Guppie's tail ragged?!?!

I have this beautiful orange male guppie named Hoss. He is in a 6 gallon tank with another male guppie, Little Joe, and a Dwarf African Frog, Kermit. His tail has become ragged. We cleaned out the tank not long ago and I was gone last week and had someone take care of them and now the tank is GREEN! so green and brown! It has NEVER done that before! I don't know what is wrong with Hoss! He is swimming and eating fine. Does anyone know?

how did you clean out the tank?
where is ammonia level supposed to be?
one week from clear to green/brown?wow! have you asked what they did? maybe fed a Whole lot and left the light on 24hrs/day?
anyway. try back to back 50% water changes, with good gravel vaccuuming if you havent already. treat tail with melafix, and get th ammonia/nitrite nitrate numbers.
just my 2 cents.
I only know of tails getting ragged from biting or from poor water quality.

THanks. I think that the person who fed them overfed them. Other fish died while they took care of them. grrrr...

The other guppy could be fighting with him..which is why his tail is ragged.
