Guppies

Can male guppies be housed with just other male guppies and be happy?? (Well as happy as they can be with no girls around ) What I am getting at is are they territoral with each other?? My LFS has some beautiful fancy tailed males and I am thinking about getting a couple for my community tank.

I've read that males will pick on other males unless you have enough to distribute agression...

as long as there isnt anything in the tank that looks like a female guppy it should be fine.

Guppies are like people. Some are nice, some aren't so nice. I've had about a gazillion guppies in different tanks in my life time (males/females : males/males : females/females) and there were groups who were the best buddies and then there were groups with the biggest bullies, chasing each other. It's really hard to say.

it should be fine if you have enough of them. four is a good number to start at.
