Guppy Tank...

Aloha...

I was wondering what would be "enough" as far as guppy tank aeration and filtration. Do I need a fancy pump or would a simple air pump/airstone one work?

I am thinking about maybe a 5 gallon tank...

If I am reading you correctly, a simple air pump and airstone will not be enough since it provides no biological filtration, only aeration. A quick visit to the Krib will educate you on filtration issues.
