Sorry I'm rushing in without introducing myself properly (will do that later), but I need some quick advice on the light timer for the tropiquarium 68/88.

I have just bought a used tank only to find that the light timer is not working properly (lcd display blips and disappears). New batteries don't make any difference, ok, a few hiccups with used goods are expected.......

......the only problem is that the tank is in my daughter's bedroom and the lights are ON and we can't get them to turn OFF. It is cycling at the minute so we dont really want to switch it off at the mains as the heater/filter/lights all run off one plug.

Question is, is there anyway we can bypass the timer (until we get a replacement) so that we can turn the lights off and my daughter can get some sleep!

Thanks in advance :help:

Could you just take the light bulb out until you can figure out why the timer is sticking?
