Do you think Halfbeaks would eat Chili Rasboras, Clown Killi's, or Celestial Pearl Danios?

They may eat their fry, but I don't think they will bother the fish you listed. I have 2 types of halfbeaks, wrestling, and Borneo red line tribal (which are very small), and they live in my comunity tank and do not bother any1. I have 3 guppies, some von rios tetras, sids, sewellia lineolata, and many, many others in the tank and the halfbeaks have never bothered any of them. If you are talking about Celebes halfbeaks, they are quite a bit larger, but again, I had those and they very rarely leave the top of the tank, and when they did, they didn't bother any of the other fish. I think you would be fine. Good luck.

Thanks. I'm looking to get some that are 2.5 to 3" long.

Those sound like the Celebes. I had some for almost 2 years. They look mean, but I had no issues with them. Mine ate (and still do eat) anything I put in the tank. Freeze dried baby shrimp are fun to watch, as they will grab a big one and swim around the top of the tank with most of it hanging out of their mouths ! Mine also eat, frozen bloodworms, froz brine shrimp, even flakes. Like I said, I have yet to find something that they won't eat. I like the halfbeaks cause they remind me of mini barracudas. I am always on the hunt for some different ones. Again, good luck.
