handball size tiger snails reef safe?

thinking about getting a big tiger snail. it has a round shape shell, color is white and black .need help cleaning algae off my tank really good since my other smaller snails arent helping. will it harm any corals, shrimp?

The tiger cowries? If so it will cause trouble in a reef as an adult.

Aren't these snails illegal in the pet trade?? At least if its the ones I'm thinking he is talking about.. And aren't they a land snail??

yes it looks more like that but the color isint as good. it seems faded

Oh zebra turbos! Tiger ...zebra...how did you figure that out? I had a zebra and loved the guy at first, called him Zeus. Unfortunately he was probably elderly when I got him (over 3" across) because he only lasted 2 months and the last week I was constantly having to upright him.

Probably looks faded due to calcium and such from the tank.
