I got my fishies last night! :D

4 Peppered Cory's and 7 Head n Tail Light Tetras.

Roughly 12 hours later all are settling in nicely. Fed them a small breakfast this morning. The tetras are chasing each other all over the tank. The corys are zipping up and down and back and forth, and all looks good :D

So thank you to the AC Members for all their advice and patience!!

Excellent !

:)

I haven't seen any shrimp at my LFS :( Too bad, I'd like to get some.

I've read a few different profiles on Peppered Corys, one site says that they are the largest variety of Corydoras, weighing in at 4 inches. The rest say that they get to between 2-3"

I'd like to know how big they get, 4" seems a little big, and 4 four inch corys (along with the tetras I've got) would be getting close to overstocking a 25g, non?

Everyone is small now, but fish DO grow, and I don't want to add more now (ie a gourami or two) and end up overstocking myself later.

Well, the Cory's take up mostly bottom space, the head and tailight tetras are somewhere in the middle. I think you could get away with a clown pleco, or 2 otocinclus and 2 dwarf gourami (the blue neons are nice although my store had no female because no one wants them cause there grey and 2 males will fight) However, I find the pearl gourami to be really docile and beautiful to watch with a cool swimming techinque. They are always together and chase each other in and out my forest of plants. And they have little feelers that reach out to you when you touch the glass. Cool.

Right now I have: 1 clown pleco
4 mickey mouse platys
2 pearl gourami
2 swordtails
2 corys and my FS guy tells me I have room for an upside down catfish, maybe 2 I also have 4 ghost shrimp I think.
I saw one 2day.
