I at first created a brackish pond in my backyard with mangroves, brackish turtles, fish, the works. Unfortunately I had to move and also got married, had a kid, new house, etc. Anyway my next grand plan is a pool (3-5k gallons) with coconut trees, sea grapes, red, black, and white mangroves, buttonwood all surrounding in pool (I live in Central Fl- so reasonably warm year round (occasionally a 35c night but plan to have removable green house over pool in winter and solar pool warmers).

I am hoping to find the fish I cannot find in my regular store once everything is up an running.

The list is below:

African Scat (very hard to find)
Anableps (can get online)
False Four Eyed fish
Target Fish (Therapon jarbua)
Datnoides campbelli (hard to find)
Striped catfish
Asian Mangrove Seeds
Mangrove Plants

(these are just off the top of my head fish that are hard for me to find- will post more later).

Good luck! I have a brack tank as well and it is hard to find some of that stuff. As for scats, if you absolutely cannot find some I have a supplier up here in canada.

you could put the electric blue crayfish in there. + the kicker is there from flordia, so if some escape its ok.

i got them, or white clarkii, or orange pm me if u want
