has anyone ever used AQUA-TECH aquarium sealant?

I recently purchased the stuff from my lfs. I have used it once for a small chimp in the corner of a tank. my neighborhood is having a huge garage/yard sale soon and am going to go around and see if anyone has any tanks for sale, and if any are cracked i want to know if this stuff will work and save me money on buying a cracked tank from my lfs or a neighbor, by fixing it.

I would not trust a sealed crack unless is right near the top (very little water pressure). Now if you find some leakers with the glass intact, you can strip the old silicone off inside and run a new bead and have a good tank.
